Tutored by fashion designer icon John Galliano, Candy Anthony graduates in Fashion Accessory Product and Innovation from The London College of Fashion.


Candy launches the first Candy Anthony label from One Nation, an eclectic small designer independent boutique based in the legendary Chelsea’s King’s Road.


Candy Anthony opens her first outlet in former Kensington’s notorious Hyper Hyper (later renamed Hype Designer Forum), hub of the UK’s emerging fashion designers. From there, Candy Anthony begins to establish her name and reputation both locally and internationally, supplying her minimal and quirky collections to over 25 international outlets including Europe, US, Canada and Japan.


The new Candy Anthony label success and reputation are growing fast, both nationally and internationally gaining exposure through London’s leading fashion exhibitions and catwalk shows such as 40degrees and Interseason. Candy Anthony is selected to exhibit in the Scene Designer Group, “The best cutting edge design talent in Britain”, at The Interseason London Show, 1998. Behind her success there is a combination of cutting edge but wearable design, together with a mastership in pattern cutting which allows her outfits to always achieve the perfect fit.


Candy Anthony is now available at legendary fashion boutique Browns of South Molton Street, London.


The official Candy Anthony flag store boutique-atelier opens at the Oxo Tower Wharf, in the Southbank, an historic London landmark featuring unique and talented British designers. Candy’s collections are now including a brand new couture evening and bridal range, inspired to the 1950s and 1960s high society icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Liz Taylor and Jackie Kennedy among others.


Candy Anthony is selected by the winning apprentice Tim Campbell to support the first winning team of Sir Alan Sugar’s ‘The Apprentice’ first series, BBC One.


Candy Anthony begins a long lasting collaboration with British fashion consultant, author and television presenter Gok Wan, and is featured numerous times on his successful show ‘How to Look Good Naked’, Channel 4.

Candy Anthony starts designing numerous outfits in new collaborations with Hilary Alexander, OBE, former fashion director of The Daily Telegraph, award winning British fashion journalist and stylist.


Candy Anthony features on Wedding TV, in various programs and interviews, her followers keep rising and so is the brand reputation.

2009 – Present

Candy Anthony begins sponsoring the annual Breast Cancer Care charity London event. Caring deeply about the ethics and history of Breast Cancer Care, Candy pledges to support the fight against the fatal disease, through the charity auction of numerous Candy Anthony gowns.


Candy Anthony has now established an undiscussed international leadership in the niche market of short wedding dresses, vintage inspired in style but at the same time adapted to the modern woman’s shape through the unique fit. Candy Anthony is chosen by Wedding magazine editor Catherine Westwood for her own wedding outfit.


Candy Anthony dresses continue to be be featured as dream dresses on the hit show, ‘Don’t Tell the Bide’, BBCThree.

Candy Anthony is shortlisted as Bridal Designer of the Year finalist at the You&Your Wedding Bridal Retail Awards and is also chosen by Grazia magazine as “One of the London’s best Wedding Dress Shops.”


Candy Anthony designs and launches a brand new range of handcrafted luxury shoes line, offering the very best complement to their gowns. The Candy Anthony shoes are customisable and can be ordered in the same colour or even the same fabric of most Candy Anthony gowns.


Candy Anthony launches a new website and online boutique, to supply the increasing global demand for their luxury gowns and accessories.


Candy Anthony features in The Evening Standard / Lifestyle Magazine in January 2016, among “One of the Best Wedding Shop in London”, and specifically as “The place to go for 50s inspired wedding dresses!”


Year of change! This year Candy Anthony is updating its business, the logistics and showroom, in order to launch the most extraordinary collection ever.
